Drive up to the hill of Montjuic for breathtaking views across the harbor and city. Home to several splendid museums including the Miro Foundation, it was also the site of the main Olympic stadiums of the 1992 Olympic Games. See where all the action happened at the Olympic Ring and take a glance – and some stunning panoramic snapshots from Montjuic Castle. You will explore many of the surreal buildings of the city’s most famous architect Antoni Gaudi. We'll see Casa Batllo, Casa Amataller and Casa Morera on the luxurious shopping strip of Passeig de Gracia. Then we'll head across town to one of Gaudi’s most extraordinary creations, the still unfinished cathedral of La Sagrada Familia. Move on up into the hills to see his lovely urban park - Park Guell - full of multi-colored mosaic sculptures and fairytale houses. You will then depart Barcelona to visit the sublime Benedictine Abbey of Montserrat. Perched on a high mountain of the same name, the abbey can be reached by road, cable ca, and rack railway, or by hiking up 4,000 feet. We will drive to the top and enjoy the impressive views, just as thousands of pilgrims have done throughout the centuries. Learn about the legend of the Black Virgin. If you are lucky, you may catch a performance by La Escolania - the oldest children's choir in Europe. See all the interesting points in and around the park as your guide reveals Montserrat’s fascinating history. Take a short walk in the park or shop for some local cheese and jam. Take in the amazing views for a little longer before we return to Barcelona for your hotel drop-off.

Barcelona hotel pick-up service takes place between 8:55am and 9:25am. Please be ready in the hotel lobby at the confirmed pick-up time. If you are arriving by cruise ship, we'll pick you up at the pier at exactly 8:30am.
