Half Day Central Maui Tour to Haleakala and Iao Valley

This Hawaiian tour will take you to one of Maui's most famous dormant volcanoes, the spectacular House of the Sun, Mount Haleakala Crater. Travel through bucolic Upcountry Kula Area to the 10, 043 foot summit at Haleakala National Park. Visit the Visitor Center and Pu`u Ula`ula Overlook. You will see the unique protea blossoms (in season) and rare silverswords plants. Some of the highlights you will encounter are unique species of birds, such at the Hawaii State bird, the Nene goose, the town of Wailuku, sugar cane fields and Ka`ahumanu Church. Another feature on this tour is the scenic drive to soaring Iao Valley State Park. You will learn the history and legends that make this island magical! The Kalakua Merrie Mile Run on Saturday, December 8, 2018 from 5:30 AM (road closures) to 8:30 AM will change the pickup location for Aston Waikiki Beach and Waikiki Beach Marriott. The alternate pickup location will be at the Aston Waikiki Sunset. *Due to a fallen tree, Rainbow Falls cannot be visited till November 7, 2019. Additional time will be spent at other tour stops.
