Palm Springs Aerial Tramway Ticket

The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, the world's largest rotating tram car - travels over two-and-one-half miles along the breathtaking cliffs of Chino Canyon, transporting riders to the pristine wilderness of the Mt. San Jacinto State Park. During your approximately ten-minute journey, tram cars rotate slowly, offering picturesque and spectacular vistas of the valley floor below. Once you reach the Mountain Station - elevation 8,516 feet - enjoy two restaurants, observation decks, natural history museum, two documentary theaters, gift shop and over 50 miles of hiking trails.

Departure Time:
Ticket booth opens 30 minutes prior to first tram of the day.
Monday - Friday: first Tramcar up is at 10 a.m.
Saturday, Sunday and holidays: first Tramcar up is 8 a.m. (Two more time, 8:00am and 9:00am, is available, if you want to choose any one of them, please leave us the comment when you place an order.)
Last Tramcar up is 8 p.m. with last Tramcar down at 9:30 p.m.
Tramcars depart at least every half hour.
Hours of operation are subject to change. The Tramway is subject to unexpected closures due to severe weather.

Closure Dates:
The Tram closes every year for annual maintenance. The tentative closure date for 2023 is September 11, 2023 through October 8, 2023 (Dates are subject to change).
