2-Day Beijing Tour: Great Wall, Forbidden City**Tian'anmen Square | Summer Palace**

Mutianyu Great Wall, featured “graceful”, enjoy the best quality among all Wall sections, 80km north-east of Beijing. It is is encased by sprightly streams and lush greenery. Mutianyu Great Wall is older than Badaling Great Wall, it has 22 watchtowers, about one every kilometer. Built mainly with granite, it was opened to tourists on May Day in 1986, the second Great Wall site opened to tourists after BaDaLing. MuTianYu Great Wall passes through beautiful forested hills with streams.There is a cable car at MuTianYu to whisk you up onto the Great Wall. The Sacred Way is a main way leading to the Ming Tombs. Consisting of the Shengde Stone Memorial Archway, the Great Red Gate, Stele Pavilion, stone sculptures and the Dragon and Phoenix Gate, presenting the magnificent splendor of the imperial power of the Ming Dynasty. Suggested Tour Itinerary (for reference only): 7:00-7:30am, You will be met by your guide and driver at your hotel lobby before proceed to the Great Wall at Mutinayu. 9:30am, you will arrive the Mutianyu Great Wall, then you can spend about 3 hours wandering around Mutianyu Great Wall. It is very exciting to take the cable car up and down (at your own cost). During lunch break, you will enjoy a local lunch at a restaurant near by Great Wall. 16:30, you will be transferred back to downtown and get off at closest subway station, the tour is over.

During today’s trip, you will have a chance to witness three major splendid imperial buildings in the Beijing. Enhancing your sightseeing experience to the Forbidden City, the world largest royal palace, we will take 4 hours full-view tour to it by walk covering the West, East and Central Line (regular group only walk central line with 2 hours), you will be able to board the meridian gate, a closer look at turrets of elegant buildings, visit museums, distinctive royal garden, royal family residence and so on to make you to enjoy a high-value journey in the Forbidden City. In the afternoon, you will be guided to visit the Summer Palace, the beautiful palace used to live on the vacation for the royal family, to admire the halls, courtyards, pavilions, temples and wooded hillsides of this opulent lakeside. Summer Palace- Driving time(40 minutes) (Option: Taking boat with 30 minutes via famous Empress Cixi Water Way to get to the Summer Palace to appreciate the beautiful scenery on both sides of the River) Summer Palace-Sightseeing (1.5 hours) 17:00, the tour is over and you will be transferred to the closest subway station to get off.
