At Extranomical Tours, guest safety is built into every trip: we operate in full compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation and tour regulations, and each tour begins with a daily pre-trip vehicle inspection to confirm the bus is road-ready before departure. Our tour guides are trained and retrained consistently on safety procedures, guest communication, and emergency protocols, so they’re prepared to make sound decisions on the road and support guests confidently throughout the day.

Overall, our tours typically include round-trip transportation, a professional driver/guide (live narration in English), foreign language audio tours, scheduled stops with photo opportunities and free time at key points of interest, and all applicable taxes/standard operating fees. Depending on the specific tour, admission/tickets (e.g., park entry, Alcatraz tickets), hotel pickup/drop-off. Not included unless stated: meals and drinks, gratuities and personal expenses/souvenirs.

Our cancellation policy depends on the tour type: for most standard day tours (non-overnight and not including Alcatraz), cancellations made at least 24 hours before departure receive a full refund. For Alcatraz packages, cancellations must be made at least 5 days before the tour for a full refund. For overnight tours that include hotel accommodation, cancellations must be made at least 10 days in advance for a full refund.

Yes — tour customization is available only as a private tour. For private groups, we can tailor the itinerary, timing, pickup location, and pace to fit the needs.
