The ceiling of this magnificent chapel was painted by Michelangelo between 1508-1512 and is known throughout the world for its pristine beauty. Sistine Chapel, which is located in Apostolic Palace where the Pope lives in Vatican City, is named for Pope Sixtus IV who commissioned its restoration between 1477-1480. Renaissance painters who created frescoes for the Sistine Chapel are Sandro Botticelli, Domenico Ghirlandaio, Pietro Perugino, Pinturicchio and Cosimo Roselli. The world's most famous chapel that originated in 1483 by Pope Sixtus IV is used for religious ceremonies and the election of a new pope. The Renaissance paintings in the structure's interior represent Roman Catholic scenes of Genesis, The New Testament, The Last Judgement, The Life of Christ and The Life of Moses. A visit to this United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) World Heritage Site can't be missed as it is the site of the some of the finest artistry ever created.

Booking this tour was incredibly easy. The platform was clear, and whenever I had questions, the 24-hour customer service team replied fast and professionally. The itinerary was packed but well-paced, covering Rome, Florence, Venice, and the Swiss Alps without feeling rushed. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, especially in Rome and Florence. Grindelwald and Lucerne were absolute highlights. Hotels were comfortable and well-located. I would definitely book again through this platform.

Excellent tour and well-organized. So much was packed into this tour; probably not possible to experience this much if organized yourself, as you would need more like 10 days. Our director, Lino, was fantastic, very knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. He really made this a memorable tour. Our bus driver, Pepe, was also excellent. Highly recommend this tour.
