This village located in the Canadian town of Niagara-on-the-Lake is where the Niagara River began corroding the Niagara Escarpment. Queenston was established in the 1770s and was the location of the War of 1812's first important fight in the Battle of Queenston Heights. In addition to offering great access to the escarpment, the community also features the RiverBrink Art Museum, Brock's Monument and portions of the Bruce Trail.
