The Plaza de Espana features a semi-circular brick building located in Maria Luisa Park. It was built in the Renaissance Revival style for the 1929 Ibero-American Exhibition. Towers tall enough to be seen throughout the city stand at the building’s north and south ends, and a 1640-foot-long canal fronts the building with four bridges across it.
