Philae Temple is currently an island in the Aswan Low Dam, downstream of the Aswan Dam, in Egypt. Though it does have a somewhat complicated history, and has fallen victim to flooding and damage in the past, the island features some amazing temples that span the course of Egyptian history, including one dedicated to Isis that encompasses over a quarter of the island itself. The island is a wonderful monument to ancient history, and makes for a once in a lifetime experience.
