Niagara-on-the-Lake was established in 1792 and was seized and destroyed by American soldiers during the War of 1812. The town's National Historic Sites of Canada include Fort George, The Battlefield of Fort George, Fort Mississauga, Fort Drummond, Butler's Barracks, Niagara Apothecary, Queenston Heights and Willowbank. Niagara-on-the-Lake's Old Town is filled with architecture from the 19th Century.

This tour covered so much without feeling tiring. Central Park was peaceful compared to the energy of Times Square. The visit to Whirlpool State Park showed a dramatic side of Niagara I hadn’t seen before. Ending the day with ice wine tasting in Niagara-on-the-Lake was a lovely touch.

Loved how smooth the whole day felt. Booking was easy, transport was clean, and the maple syrup tasting was a sweet surprise. Niagara Parkway views were outstanding.
