The Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County is the largest natural and historical museum in the western United States. The museum has more than 35 million specimens and artifacts displayed, covering 4.5 billion years of history. The museum first opened in 1913 and was renovated and reopened in 2010, followed by the opening of their Dinosaur Hall in 2011. The museum is located in Exposition Park, Los Angeles and has added many more wings to the buildings throughout the years.
