This upscale coastal city in Southern California is where many beach mansions of the rich and famous are located along the 27-mile stretch of pristine beaches. Malibu wasn't incorporated until 1991 and originally was part of an 1802 land grant given to Spanish soldier Jose Bartolome Tapia.
