The Lightner Museum showcases an incredible collection of Victorian and Neo-Classical antiquities - paintings, costumes, stained-glass lamps, cut glass and musical instruments - from the late 19th century. The museum is housed in the spa and Turkish bath of the former Hotel Alcazar. And inside what was once the largest indoor swimming pool in the U.S. is the Lightner Museum Antique Mall and Cafe Alcazar. Built in 1887 in the Spanish Renaissance Revival style, Hotel Alcazar's opulence is rivaled only by the former Ponce de Leon Hotel (Flagler College) across the street.
