Mejores Tours y Viajes de Calzada del Gigante

See the "eighth natural wonder of the world" and walk in the footsteps of giants at Northern Ireland’s most famous sight. The Giant’s Causeway, Northern Ireland’s only UNESCO World Heritage Site, consists of approximately 40,000 interlocking basalt columns that are the result of an ancient volcanic eruption, which ancient peoples believed was not a natural feature and caused by giants.

[15 Pax] 5-Day Northern Ireland and Atlantic Coast Tour from Dublin: Belfast, Portrush, Derry, Donegal, Sligo, Carrowmore, Mayo, Connemara National Park, Westport, Cong and Galway

Excellent - we are only 11 on the bus and that was perfect. the guide was fantastic. My only criticism is not enough time when stopping for lunch to have lunch and look around the town. Our guide was very accommodating when we asked though. Would use again

Preguntas frecuentes sobre tours de Giant S Causeway

Is the Giant's Causeway worth visiting in winter?

Yes, the Giant's Causeway is worth visiting in winter. Cooler temperatures and fewer crowds enhance the experience, though surfaces can be slippery when wet or icy. Wear sturdy footwear and check weather conditions before visiting. The moody Atlantic backdrop adds drama to the basalt columns, especially during sunrise or stormy skies.

How do I get to the Giant's Causeway from Belfast?

From Belfast, take the M2/North Street toward Antrim, then take the A2 to Larne. Follow signs to Ballycastle and then the B146 to the Giant's Causeway. The drive takes about 1.5 hours. Alternatively, use the Ulsterbus 172 or book a guided day tour from Belfast for a stress-free journey.

Are there entrance fees to visit the Giant's Causeway?

Yes, there is an entrance fee to access the Giant's Causeway site, managed by the National Trust. As of 2024, adult admission is £12.90-£15.50, with lower rates for children and concessions. Tickets include parking and access to the visitor centre. Booking online in advance is recommended to secure entry and save time.

Is the Giant's Causeway accessible for visitors with mobility challenges?

The Giant's Causeway offers limited accessibility due to its natural terrain. The main viewing platform is wheelchair accessible via a paved path from the visitor centre.
