Designed by Catalan artist Jaume Plensa and implemented by Krueck and Sexton Architects, the Crown Fountain is a stunning public art piece and video structure found within Millennium Park. Contrasting with traditional fountains, the art piece is made of a pair of glass brick towers within a reflecting pool. LED screens line the inward faces of the towers and feature five minute footage of various individuals faces, generally puckering their lips so it appears that water is spouting out of this mouths.
