This suburb of St. Louis was the site of the first post office in the United States back in 1851. Chesterfield wasn't incorporated until 1988 and was called West County prior to that. Notable attractions are Faust Park, Botanical Garden's Butterfly House, Chesterfield Mall, Kemp Auto Museum, Gallery at Chesterfield Arts and the nearby Spirit of St. Louis Airport.
