Also called the National Assembly Building, this downtown Sofia building is appropriately situated in the city's Parliament Square. The Bulgarian Parliament Building was designed by Konstantin Jovanović in Neo-Renaissance style. It was constructed between 1884 and 1886. The building lacks sufficient space for all Bulgarian government operations so some offices are located in The Largo.
