Hidden in the Matanzas province in Cuba, Boca de Guama is a popular tourist resort and attraction. A small region on the Laguna del Torres, this resort was designed to reflect the homes and villages of the Taino, the original inhabitants of Cuba, and takes its name Guama from the Taino chief who rebelled against the Spanish in 1532. Alongside the Taino Villa and the lagoon, there is also a crocodile farm where the marsh dwelling crocodiles of Cuba are being breed back from extinction.
