A typical two-hour tour will take you past the mysterious El Candelabro, an enormous geoglyph carved into the sandy hills that may have been used by mariners for navigation in ages past. Colonies made up of thousands of seabirds, including Guanay cormorant, the blue-footed booby and the Peruvian pelican, nest on the islands and fill the skies above.
