Begun by Attilio Santini in 1949, the first parlor opened in Praia do Tamariz and had people lining up for the Italian’s handmade ice creams with all-natural, high-quality ingredients. Today, patrons still line up for Santini’s ice cream in Cascais and at the urban year-round location in Lisbon. Eduardo Santini still follows the same recipes from 1949.
