Situated in the foothills of Vermont's Green Mountains, the New England Maple Museum provides visitors with a detailed history of maple syrup. The museum in Pittsford also allows you to make maple candy and taste many samples. Maple syrup, maple-flavored treats, cookbooks and Vermont souvenirs can be found in the museum's gift shop.
