The spectacular 308-foot waterfall is the largest in Yellowstone National Park and the most visited among the recreation area's more than 290 other waterfalls. Lower Falls of the Yellowstone River that trickle down colorful yellow rocks are almost double the height of Niagara Falls, but don't have nearly as much water flow. The best view of the falls can be obtained from the vantage points of Grandview Point, Lookout Point, Inspiration Point and Artists Point.
