Mapa de El Capitolio / Lugar

Based on the Pantheon and the U.S. Capital Building, El Capitolio once served as the center for the Cuban government prior to the revolution. Today it houses the Cuban Academy of Sciences and Cuba's National Assembly. Designed in a neo-classical style, the building features the third largest statue in the world, the bronze Statue of the Republic, marble hallways, gilded lamps, and replica 25 carrot diamonds embedded in the floor.
