1. Where can I stay if I arrive before the start date?

2. What if I need a post night accommodation?
We are happy to book your post night(s) accommodation.
You can either stay at our first hotel in Canggu for the same price as the pre night accommodation above or stay at the last hotel of the tour.

For the Bali 13 day: Sikara hotel Lombok
3.Where can I purchase insurance?
Travel is all about adventure and the unknown, but that doesn’t mean you should be too risky. It is imperative that all Wanderlands Groupies are covered by travel insurance and because we have been doing this for a while, and know exactly the type of cover you will need, we recommend booking yours through World Nomads https://www.worldnomads.com/.
4. What are the room allocations?
Twin, double or triple rooms and potentially a 4-person dorm room for Puri Garden, Ubud.
If you require certain sleeping arrangements, please do let us know so that we can accommodate you correctly. Private rooms are subject to availability and cost roughly 500,000-1,200,000IDR per night.

5. Is there Wi-Fi available in our hotels?
All of the hotels and cafes that we stay in or visit along our tour have access to good, strong Wi-Fi. Although, there may be certain areas where Wi-Fi is slow or non-existent! Try to remember that sometimes it’s good to disconnect for a bit, so if you do find yourself without access try and make the most of it.
6. What kind of accommodation do we stay in?
We stay in hotels and one hostel; they all have air conditioning, Wi-Fi, hot and cold running water, swimming pools and are clean, comfortable and tidy.
7. Do I need a visa to enter the country?
Most nationalities are granted 30-day visas to enter Indonesia. We do recommend checking the embassy website, and using the information provided on the Indonesia immigration website. https://www.imigrasi.go.id/en/visa-kunjungan-saat-kedatangan/
8.Are flights included in the price?
No, unfortunately not. However, we are happy to help you with advice on what flight you should get.
9. When is the earliest I can fly out after the tour?
Bear in mind that for the 8-day trip, we finish our tour in Ubud and the airport is in Denpasar which takes about 2 hours. Therefore, please book your flight after 3 pm on day 8 to avoid missing your flight.
If you’re doing the 13 days tour, again please don’t book a flight before 7 pm, as you need to get a ferry back from Lombok to Bali and take a shuttle to the airport.

12. What meals are included?
Breakfast is included every day on both the 8 day and the 13 day. One dinner is included as part of the cooking class in Gili on the 13 day tour.
13. Is airport pick up included?
Yes, airport pick up is included for those arriving on the tour start date or one day prior to that, if you stay at our first hotel in Canggu. If you have pre-accommodation at the hotel we don’t use in Canggu, we can organize our driver to pick you up from the airport and drop you off at your hotel. This will need to be paid locally to our driver and will be around IDR 350,000 IDR.
14. How do I get back to the airport?
You will take a fast boat to Bali (1.30 hours), the first fast boat leaves at 11:00 am from Bangsal harbor and then hop on the airport shuttle for a 2 hour ride. We never know the situation of traffic, but booking your flight after 7 pm allows you to have more time without worrying if you'll catch/miss the flight. Don’t worry though, your Wanderlands Bali Group Leader can help you book this.
The latest boat departs Lombok at 3pm. The boat back to Bali costs about IDR 300.000 (about AU$30) and does not include the shuttle to the airport from the Bali harbor.

16. How much will spend including meals, drinks and transportation?
Meals are roughly AUD 5-10, drinks are roughly AUD 5-15 and your transport back to the airport after the tour will be roughly AUD 30 from Ubud and AUD 30-50 from Lombok.
17. Numbers of groups (age limit and size)
The sizes of our groups vary, but on average range from 12 to 16 people and have an array of ages from between 18-39 years. Our tour encourages solo travelers as well as groups and couples so there is a mix of solo travelers, groups and couples on our tour.
18. Can I store my luggage at the first hotel?
Yes, this is possible at our first hotel in Canggu.
19. Can I climb Mount Batur during my stay?
Yes, it’s an optional activity you can experience while on tour with us. It’s only AUD 40. On day 6... while we stay in Ubud.
20. What additional optional activities are there for me to do?
There are a bunch of optional activities for you to do! From the spectacular Mt. Batur Sunrise Hike and Scuba Diving, and Gili T Pub Crawl. Bali will not leave you bored! Just let us know beforehand if you’re interested to take part in the optional activities and we’ll organize it for you.
Depending on your arrival time, your hotel room may not be available until the afternoon. Most hotels allow check-in between 1:00pm-3:00pm, however some charge a fee for early check-in. Please check at the hotel desk to see if you may store your luggage at the hotel if you wish to explore the city on your own before check-in.
