Miyajima's waterfront and shrine setting were even more atmospheric than the photos. The city-to-city transitions were organized clearly, which mattered on a multi-stop route. We had limited vacation time, so the organized schedule helped us see much more than we could have managed independently. We added an independent night before the tour which made the transfers noticeably easier. The itinerary is substantial, and one or two slower evenings helped us keep our energy up. Overall, the experience was well balanced and memorable.
