Question 1

How do I get from Ronda to Seville and what is the fastest option?

Accepted Answer

The fastest way from Ronda to Seville is by taking the ALSA bus from Ronda’s downtown bus station to Seville’s Plaza de Armas, which takes about 2 hours. Alternatively, driving via the A-376 and AP-4 highways takes roughly 1h 45m. Renting a car offers flexibility but the bus is reliable and avoids parking challenges in Seville.

Question 2

Is Ronda worth visiting in winter and what should I pack?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Ronda is worth visiting in winter - it sees mild days (10-15°C) but chilly nights (3-6°C). The off-season means fewer crowds and lower accommodation prices. Pack layers, a waterproof jacket, and warm clothing for evenings. December and January may bring occasional rain, so waterproof footwear is recommended.

Question 3

Which Ronda hotels offer views of the El Tajo gorge and Puente Nuevo?

Accepted Answer

Hotels like Hotel Almoreaima, El Lodge, and Parador de Ronda deliver direct views of El Tajo gorge and Puente Nuevo. El Lodge and Parador are closest to the southern cliffside with panoramic terraces. Book upper-floor or terrace rooms in advance for the best vistas, especially at sunrise.

Question 4

Can I use the Málaga-Costa del Sol card for attractions in Ronda?

Accepted Answer

No, the Málaga-Costa del Sol Tourist Card does not cover attractions in Ronda, as it’s outside the Málaga metropolitan zone. For Ronda, pay entrance fees separately at sites like the Baños Árabes (Arab Baths) or Casa del Rey Moro. Consider the Ronda Tourist Card if available seasonally for multi-attraction access.
