Best Murren Tours & Trips

Murren is a car-free Alpine village perched on a rocky ledge 1,650 meters above sea level, offering jaw-dropping views of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau peaks. Accessible via a scenic cable car or cogwheel train, this charming destination blends old-world Swiss charm with world-class outdoor adventures. In winter, the nearby Schilthorn and Männlichen slopes attract skiers and snowboarders, while summer transforms the terrain into a hiker’s paradise with trails leading to Gimmelwald and the majestic Trummelbach Falls. The rotating summit restaurant at Piz Gloria on Schilthorn - famously linked to the James Bond film "On Her Majesty’s Secret Service" - offers panoramic views and a taste of cinematic history. With pristine alpine meadows, crisp mountain air, and unspoiled tranquility, Murren provides an authentic Swiss escape far from urban rush.
