Which metro line serves Liziba Station and how do I transfer from Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport?

Liziba Station is on Line 2. From Jiangbei Airport, take Line 3 to Niujiaotuo Station, then transfer to Line 2 heading towards Yudong. The trip takes about 50 minutes. Buy a single-journey token at the airport kiosk or use the Chongqing Rail Transit app for seamless entry without queuing at ticket counters.

When is the best time to visit the train-through-building attraction at Liziba to avoid crowds?

Visit early morning between 7 AM and 8 AM or late evening after 7 PM to avoid peak tourist hours. Weekdays are significantly less crowded than weekends. The monsoon season from June to August brings heavy rain, so check forecasts. Winter months offer clearer views but dress warmly as the platform is open-air and exposed to wind.

Can I walk onto the tracks or enter the building where the train passes through at Liziba?

No, accessing the tracks or the residential building interior is strictly prohibited for safety reasons. Security personnel monitor the area constantly. View the attraction from the designated public viewing platform on the ground level or from the station platform itself. Respect local residents by keeping noise levels low and do not block entrances.

What payment methods work for the metro at Liziba Station and do I need cash?

Cash is not required. Use Alipay, WeChat Pay, or the Chongqing Rail Transit app to scan QR codes at the gates. Major credit cards are generally not accepted directly at turnstiles. If you lack digital payment options, purchase a physical Chengdu-Chongqing Pass or single-journey tokens with cash at the service center inside the station before entering.
