Best Colorado State Capitol Tours & Trips

This golden-domed state capitol building located in Denver was designed by Elijah E. Myers to resemble the United State Capitol and its stained glass windows portray events in Colorado's history. The Colorado State Capitol opened in 1894 and contains portraits of every U.S. president, chambers for the state Senate and House of Representatives, Mr. Brown's Attic capitol museum and many art pieces. The "Closing of an Era" statue that depicts a Native American standing over a dying bison is in front of the Capitol and was sculpted by Preston Powers for Chicago World's Fair in 1893. The building's grounds contains many memorials dedicated to different causes.

6-Day National Park Adventure Tour from Denver to Salt Lake City · Yellowstone, Mount Rushmore, Grand Teton, Arches National Park

A well-managed tour

We enjoyed this tour very much. Guide Mr. Peri and Driver Mr. Crain were awesome. Entire tour was well managed. Accommodation was good for every night stay. Guide was explaining everything in English and Chinese both languages. All attractions covered in timely manner. Periodic rest room stops and lunch break stops were perfectly timed. Overall, it was memorable tour for my family.

7-Day·Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Mount Rushmore & Arches Tour from Denver

Amazing National Parks

Amazing 7 day NP tour. Yellowstone with its wildlife and geysers, Grand Teton with its snow-capped mountains, Arches with its red-orange rock formations and arches, I could go on. Our guide, Perry, and bus driver, Clint, were a great team. Long drives between parks but great scenery. Basic hotels but comfortable.

7-Day Denver Tour·Big Blue Bear, Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre, University of Colorado Boulder, Rocky Mountain National Park, Golden Town, Garden of the Gods

Recommend!

We just returned from 2 weeks in Denver city - myself and my husband. We traveled with Tours4fun in 2014 - so we were excited to see them doing such great tours in Denver now, too. The pace of itinerary was a little fast. But I think it was not a big problem, cause I have been to the places that I wanted to go. By the way, our guide was also nice, very patient and friendly.
