Alaska Native Heritage Center opened in 1999 on 26 acres and focuses on 11 major groups. It has six life-sized Native Alaskan dwelling around Lake Tiulana to explore. The center welcomes more than 100,000 visitors per year. It also offers classes, workshops and special events.
