Mammoth Lakes Map / Location

Situated in the Sierra Nevadas, this California town boasts beautiful lakes, grand mountains, lush valleys and relaxing hot springs. Mammoth Lakes was started as a mining camp in 1877 for nearby Mineral Hill. Notable sites are Mammoth Mountain, Hot Creek, Rainbow Falls, Convict Lake, Mammoth Lakes Visitor's Center, Mammoth Ski Museum and nearby Devils Postpile National Monument.
