The Spanish city of Malaga is the sixth largest city in Spain and is the capital of the Province of Malaga. Malaga has a subtropical-Mediterranean climate and has one of the warmest winters in Europe. Malaga is one of the oldest cities in the world, with a history spanning more than 2,800 years. Malaga's extensive history and architectural wonders has made Malaga a nominee for the 2016 European Capital of Culture.
