Burano Map / Location

An island town in the Venetian Lagoon, Burano is an artist's paradise filled with brightly colored houses. Just a 40 minute boat ride from Venice, the town is known for its uplifting spirit and the tropical atmosphere created by the contrast between the turquoise canals and bright colors. During its height the town was famous for its lace-making and embroidery.
