As a solo traveler, I felt very safe and well taken care of. The group was small and friendly. The Huanglong scenic area is spectacular, but the altitude is high — take it slow. The Bailong Elevator in Zhangjiajie saved us hours of hiking. The only small drawback is that some hotel breakfasts were very basic (rice porridge and bread). Still, a wonderful and well-paced tour.
The value for money is incredible given how much is included: flights, bullet trains, most meals, and top-tier hotels. The Great Wall at Mutianyu was less crowded than I feared, and the cable car up was a bonus. Our group bonded well, and the guide even arranged a birthday cake for one member. A memorable trip.
A fantastic way to explore China!
This tour provided an excellent overview of China’s most iconic sights. Beijing’s Forbidden City and the Great Wall were breathtaking. Xi'an’s Terracotta Warriors were as impressive as I had hoped. The addition of the Pearl Museum and Yu Garden in Shanghai was a great way to experience both traditional and modern China. The logistics were well-managed, and the guides were friendly and professional.
Captivating Cultural Discovery
What a remarkable journey exploring China's cultural gems! The opportunity to witness the Longmen Grottoes in Luoyang and indulge in Sichuan's culinary delights in Chengdu was an absolute delight. The tour's attention to detail and the warmth of the local people made this a remarkable adventure. Will treasure the memories forever!
