Was a fun experience. Got to stop at a few points along the way. We were lucky enough to see Mt Fuji on the day we went. Weather was great but hot. Beautiful views.
Loved that the tour included Horyu-ji Temple in Nara—it's a UNESCO site and way quieter than the main park. Felt like a deeper, more authentic historical experience.
Excellent experience overall! The guide made every historic site come alive, especially in Kyoto and Kanazawa. The schedule was busy but well-paced. Highly recommend this tour for first-time visitors to Japan.
I really enjoyed the variety of scenery, from the Japanese Alps to traditional villages like Shirakawa-go. Hotels were clean and conveniently located, and the included meals were well organized. Kanazawa and its garden were particularly impressive.
