  • 2. Find an accommodation or tour company and a project it supports.
  • 3. Choose the supplies you wish to take from the specific items requested.
  • 4. Drop off the supplies at the accommodation or tour company.
  • 5. They will be delivered to the project; it's that easy!

You can make a big impact on the lives of children around the world. Use available space in your luggage to provide supplies to communities you visit. For 5 pounds (2.27 kilos), you can bring one of the following: 400 pencils 5 deflated soccer balls with an inflation device A stethoscope, a blood pressure cuff. and 500 band-aids Pet supplies

There is need everywhere in the world; however, it is sometimes difficult to identify specific needs in places far from home. We believe people fortunate enough to travel to other countries often wish they could make meaningful contributions to help meet the needs of the places they visit. Such contributions are one way of expressing appreciation for the experiences and hospitality they enjoyed in other lands.


Our goal is to assist travelers who want to say thank you in this manner or who simply want to expand their generosity beyond their own communities. The supply lists for destinations on our website are provided directly by the local community-based projects that receive and use the supplies, enabling travelers to make informed decisions and to take items that meet the needs of those who will be using them.

They also continue to be involved with many other non-profits and are committed to enhancing the global community in which they live.

Ayudanos a ayudar is a program created by Sandos Hotels & Resorts which, in cooperation with the local organization Xyaat, supports Mayan communities of the beautiful Zona Maya area. This region is filled with Mayan towns just a short distance from our Riviera Maya resorts.
The Xyaat organization began in the traditional Mayan village of Senor and works to promote the Mayan culture throughout the Riviera Maya in order to benefit local Mayan communities and schools while showing tourists how modern day Mayans live.
