Itinerary

Depart from the Luxor or Treasure Island hotels in Las Vegas and travel through the unique Mojave Desert. Enjoy scenic views and hear fascinating stories about Death Valley. Stop at the Area 51 Alien Center for a quick breakfast break, fun photo ops, and a chance to browse the quirky shop. Then continue your journey deeper into the desert.

Visit the Rhyolite Ghost Town and explore abandoned buildings and unique outdoor sculptures, part of a rare Artist residency program. Capture unforgettable photos in this atmospheric former mining town. Arrive at the Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes and walk among golden, wind-sculpted dunes. Feel the peaceful silence and vastness of the desert all around you.

Pause at Furnace Creek Visitor Center for a bathroom break and a classic photo with the outdoor thermometer. Learn about Death Valley’s extreme climate, its extreme geology, the animals living there and the many business ventures that saw the light in this desolate place. Enjoy lunch and free time at Furnace Creek, the oasis of the park. Relax, explore the historic open-air museum, or choose a local dining spot (meal not included).

Visit Badwater Basin, the lowest point in North America at 282 feet below sea level. Walk the endless salt flats and marvel at the surreal landscape. Stop at Harmony Borax Works to discover Death Valley's mining history. See the preserved ruins and the famous twenty-mule team wagons.

End your day at Zabriskie Point, famous for its colorful badlands and sweeping desert views. Capture stunning photos before beginning your journey back to Las Vegas. Relax on the return drive and arrive in the evening, filled with memories of Death Valley's unforgettable landscapes.
