Pick your ideal date and time, and you'll get an instant confirmation sent straight to your inbox.

Option 1:With a regular ticket, you can explore the following key areas of the Summer Palace:
* Wander the sprawling heart of this UNESCO gem, where imperial gardens meet sweeping lakes and ancient pavilions. It's the soul of the palace, laid out for you to explore at your pace.
* Stroll the Long Corridor: 700 meters of covered beauty, draped in 10,000+ vibrant paintings. Think dragons, mythical tales, and landscapes so vivid, you'll feel like you're stepping into a living storybook.
* Gawk at the Marble Boat: A stone masterpiece floating on Kunming Lake, built to symbolize the imperial family's unshakable power. Sunlight glints off its stone hull—pure photo gold.
* Drink in views of Longevity Hill: Its sloped greenery, dotted with pagodas, frames the entire garden. Stand back, and let the panorama sink in—this is the Summer Palace in all its grand, sweeping glory.

Option 2:With a combination ticket, in addition to all areas accessible with a regular ticket, you can enter these exclusive attractions (The following scenic spots in the Summer Palace are closed on Mondays.)
* Climb the Tower of Buddhist Incense: Perched atop Longevity Hill, it's the ultimate vantage point. From here, the entire garden unfolds: Kunming Lake sparkles like a jewel, the Long Corridor winds like a ribbon, and every corner feels like a postcard come to life.
* Step into Dehe Garden: Home to a three-story imperial opera house, where Empress Dowager Cixi once laughed and cheered. The stage glows with gold leaf, the seats whisper of royal audiences—you'll almost hear the echo of ancient melodies.
* Lose yourself in Suzhou Street: A tiny Jiangnan water town, plucked from the south and dropped into the palace. Cobblestone lanes, wooden shops, and a canal that shimmers—suddenly, you're not just visiting a garden; you're wandering a 200-year-old market.
* Dive into the Summer Palace Museum: Behind its doors? Treasures fit for emperors. Think jade carvings, silk robes stitched with dragons, and porcelain so delicate, it's a wonder it survived. It's not just artifacts—this is the palace's memory.

During peak seasons, the Summer Palace draws crowds, but booking ahead ensures you skip the long ticket lines—saving time to dive right into the beauty. Upon arrival, just show your e-ticket and scan your passport (or ID) at the entrance; no more fumbling with paper tickets or endless waits.
