Itinerary

Tour Duration: 08:30-16:30

Meet at hotel lobby and proceed for half day city tour. Your visits today will include Istana Photo Stops, Merdeka Square, Batu Caves, and Royal Selangor.
Istana Photo Stops: The Istana Negara is the official residence of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, the monarch of Malaysia. It is located along Jalan Tuanku Abdul Halim in Segambut, northwestern Kuala Lumpur. The palace opened in 2011 and replaced the old Istana Negara which was located at a different compound in central Kuala Lumpur.
* Merdeka Square: In Malay, the word "Merdeka" signifies "independence." The British colonial flag was lowered and the Malaysian flag was gradually hoisted on this vast green field on August 31, 1957. Malaysia was then a self-governing democracy.
* Batu Caves: Located 15 km north of Kuala Lumpur, Batu Caves is one of the most well-known Hindu pilgrimage sites outside of India. Hindu gods and goddesses are depicted in vivid murals that adorn the caverns. It takes 272 stairs to get to the biggest cave. You will see plenty of pilgrims, tourists, and monkeys as you climb the incredibly high stairs. These caves host the lively Thaipusam event every year. The Batu Caves' stairs were painted with 11 colours in 2018, ranging from dark to light, as a result of the dedication ceremony, which is held every 12 years.
* Royal Selangor: Visitor center taking guests through the history of Royal Selangor's pewter manufacturing. Then transfer to the elegant Tea Lounge at the Majestic Hotel for your English Afternoon Tea with a Malaysian twist. Later transfer back to your hotel.
