Early in the morning, we depart from the Las Vegas Strip and set out across the open landscapes along the Nevada-Arizona border. Passing through desert vistas, rugged cliffs, and shimmering lakes, we begin our adventure to the Grand Canyon West Rim.
Las Vegas Sign (Approx. 15 minutes)
As one of the city's most iconic landmarks, the neon "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas" sign has been greeting visitors since it was first lit in 1959. Standing proudly at the south end of the Strip, it has become a must-visit photo stop-whether by day or illuminated at night-marking the perfect beginning to your Las Vegas journey.
Seven Magic Mountains (Approx. 30 minutes)
Located about 20 miles south of Las Vegas along Interstate 15, this large-scale public art installation was created by Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone. Seven towering stacks of locally sourced boulders, each painted in bright fluorescent colors, rise 30-35 feet tall against the desert backdrop. Their bold hues and striking presence make them one of the most vibrant and photogenic attractions in the Mojave Desert.
Hemenway Park (Approx. 30 minutes)
Located near Hoover Dam, Hemenway Park is a peaceful stop that combines scenic views with a touch of wildlife. From its open grounds, you can enjoy sweeping vistas of Lake Mead's shimmering blue waters framed by the surrounding desert mountains. The park's biggest highlight is its resident herd of Desert Bighorn Sheep, often seen grazing freely on the lawns. Their presence offers a rare opportunity for close-up photography and a memorable glimpse of nature's harmony. Whether you pause to admire the lake view, breathe in the fresh air, or capture photos of wildlife, Hemenway Park adds a refreshing and heartwarming moment to the journey.
Hoover Dam Viewpoint (Approx. 30 minutes)
Rising 726 feet above the Colorado River, Hoover Dam is an engineering marvel that forever changed the American Southwest. Built during the 1930s, this massive concrete structure not only provided vital jobs during the Great Depression but also created Lake Mead, the largest reservoir in the United States. From the viewing area, you'll see the Colorado River winding through Black Canyon and the vast expanse of Lake Mead shimmering under the desert sun. The striking mix of turquoise water, rugged red cliffs, and endless blue skies makes this stop a highlight of any Southwest journey. Today, Hoover Dam continues to power homes and supply water across Nevada, Arizona, and California-standing as both a historic landmark and a symbol of human ingenuity.
Grand Canyon West (Approx. 4 hours)
Grand Canyon West, located on the Hualapai Indian Reservation, is the nearest section of the Grand Canyon to Las Vegas and combines awe-inspiring natural beauty with rich cultural heritage. The canyon here is vast and dramatic, its layered cliffs carved by the Colorado River over millions of years, creating views that are nothing short of spectacular.
• Eagle Point - This viewpoint takes its name from a cliff formation shaped like an eagle in flight. It is also the site of the world-famous Skywalk, a glass bridge that extends out over the rim. Stepping onto the walkway (optional activity) gives visitors the exhilarating experience of standing nearly 4,000 feet above the canyon floor with nothing but glass beneath their feet.
• Guano Point - A rocky outcrop that reaches into the canyon, Guano Point offers unmatched 360-degree views. A short walk to the summit reveals sweeping vistas of the cliffs and the Colorado River winding far below. On a clear day, the red rock formations stand in striking contrast to the bright desert sky, creating an unforgettable panorama.
END - Tour concludes with return drop-off at your Las Vegas pickup location.
Note: In the event that certain activities on the tour day cannot proceed due to force majeure, the guide may make adjustments based on the situation, such as replacing or modifying attractions, or canceling certain stops. No refunds or compensation will be provided.
