Pick-up locations and Times: 21:30-22:20 pick up from hotels in downtown Fairbanks. Please refer to the latest pre-tour notice for the specific time.
Itinerary:
Around 22:00 Depart from the hotel and our experienced tour guide will take you to the wilderness, away from the light pollution of the urban area to chase the trail of the Aurora. Aurora is a natural landscape that cannot be forecasted. When the aurora appears in the sky, our tour guide will stop and let you take pictures and enjoy the aurora; or take you to a place with super high visibility to stop and wait for the aurora. Along the way, the guide will explain the knowledge of the aurora, camera parameter adjustment and the aurora borealis shooting skills to help you take wonderful photos of the aurora. Because it is an out-door tour, there are no toilets and hot drinks. If you need to use the restroom, please inform the tour guide, and we will arrange that for you.
02:00 Return to the hotel.
Special Notes: As this is a wilderness aurora-chasing experience, there are no restrooms or hot drinks available at the site. If you need to use the restroom, please inform your guide in advance, and they will arrange a stop at a location with facilities.

Special Notes

  • Peak season (Dec 18, 2025-Jan 5, 2026; Feb 16-22, 2026)(based on actual service dates, not tour dates): may use 25-seat or larger vehicles.
  • Off-peak season: small groups up to 14 guests.
  • Professional guide service. A minimum of 2 pax is required.
  • If there is any discrepancy between the scheduled times listed in the itinerary and the times announced by the tour guide on site, please follow the tour guide's instructions.
  • The Aurora Borealis is a natural phenomenon that is unpredictable and cannot be guaranteed. Since its appearance depends heavily on weather and atmospheric conditions, we cannot promise a 100% chance of seeing the Northern Lights. However, we sincerely hope that each of our guests will be lucky enough to witness this breathtaking display in the night sky.
  • Small Group Policy: For tours during the shoulder season, we guarantee a group size of no more than 14 guests (excluding "fly-in, drive-out" packages). During peak seasons (e.g., Christmas), larger vehicles with 25 seats or more may be used. Vehicle size is determined based on the specific calendar dates (not the tour duration). Please refer to the published shoulder season and peak season dates in the product description. For example, if you join a 5-day tour starting on December 17 (shoulder season), and December 18–21 fall within the peak season, larger vehicles may be used during those peak dates. Final arrangements are subject to the actual on-site situation.
  • It is strongly recommended that guests purchase travel insurance in advance.
  • This is a shared tour, and you may be traveling with other guests who have booked different itineraries. We appreciate your understanding.
  • Please arrive at the meeting point at least 10–15 minutes in advance and ensure the contact number you provided is reachable. Due to traffic conditions and multiple hotel pickups, your patience is appreciated. If you are not present within 10 minutes of the scheduled time and cannot be reached after multiple attempts, it will be considered a voluntary cancellation with no refund or compensation.
  • As this is a wilderness aurora-chasing experience, there are no restrooms or hot drinks available at the site. If you need to use the restroom, please inform your guide in advance, and they will arrange a stop at a location with facilities.
  • During the trip, if there is a stop for sightseeing, guests are strictly prohibited from standing or lingering in the middle of the road. In the event of a traffic accident or personal injury caused by individual actions, the guest will be solely responsible.
  • In the event of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances that threaten the safety of guests or prevent the tour from proceeding as planned, we reserve the right to take appropriate measures. This may include adjusting the itinerary, changing the order of visits, or even canceling part or all of the tour. Related costs are non-refundable. Any additional expenses incurred (such as extra accommodation, transportation, meals, or flight changes) will be the guest's responsibility. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to minimize potential losses due to such events.
  • Due to the unpredictable weather in Alaska, the tour guide may adjust the itinerary order as needed to ensure the best possible experience. However, no part of the itinerary will be omitted unless necessary. In the event of forced cancellations, we will offer refunds based on the affected portion of the tour and the actual circumstances. Final interpretation rights belong to the company.
  • This tour operates on a join-in/shared group basis and is handled by a local operator. For operational efficiency, the local operator may transfer guests between vehicles during the tour and assign different guides and drivers, while ensuring that all services remain consistent with the agreed standards and itinerary.

The time we mentioned in the itinerary is for reference only. Please refer to your guide on tour for the actual arrangement. The visiting order and duration might be changed according to actual and practical situation for better service.
