Lake Mountain Alpine Resort: Then we wind our way up to Lake Mountain Alpine Resort, Melbourne's closest alpine destination equipped with modern facilities, amazing views, cross-country trails, toboggan runs, and a dedicated snowman park. Located 120 km northeast of Melbourne, Lake Mountain is a popular Australian ski resort and a favorite destination for snow tours, welcoming over 100,000 visitors per year. It has a maximum elevation of 1,480 meters above sea level and covers an area of 2,400 hectares, including cross-country ski trails and several toboggan runs slopes. - Infants aged 0 to 4 are not permitted to travel on adult laps and must be safely restrained within a child protective seat. Infant seats are free of charge and must be requested at the time of booking.
