These colorful Canyons offers amazing photo opportunities between sculpted sandstone walls with a walkable corridor at the bottom of the canyon floor. It was formed by flash flood waters that rushed into the cracks of the Navajo sandstone along with the power of wind erosion. With the penetration of daylight through the narrow opening from the top different kinds of light reflections and colors can be seen and enjoyed. This amazing color makes this area a popular location for photographers and tourists. From the canyon, we visit an area where the Colorado River made a 280 degree turn around the Horseshoe Bend shape of rock.
Upper Antelope Canyon
Upper Antelope Slot Canyon offers amazing photo opportunities of sculpted sandstone walls through a walkable corridor at the bottom of the canyon floor. It was formed by flash flood waters that rushed into the cracks of the Navajo sandstone along with the power of wind erosion over millions of years. The narrow opening at the top allows daylight to pierce through and reflect off the various formations and surfaces of the canyon walls. This forms a myriad of photogenic angles. It is precisely this phenomenon that made this particular area a popular location for photographers and tourists alike.
Horseshoe Bend Overlook
Requires a 1.5 mile roundtrip (2.4 km) walk over sand and rocks. You will reach a 1000 foot canyon as you look down upon the mighty Colorado River at the bottom of Glen Canyon.

Antelope Canyon tours and tickets are non-refundable.
Any decision to close Antelope Canyon due to weather comes from the Antelope Canyon operators and/or Navajo Parks and Recreation.
National Park Express has no control over these closures.

- The pickup time and locations are for reference only. Please contact customer service at least three days before departure to confirm the exact details.
- Please provide accurate phone numbers (US) or email addresses when making reservations. On the afternoon before the departure date (US time), our staff will send text messages or emails to remind guests of the relevant arrangements for the tour day.
- Cancellation policy:
- 6 days or more prior to departure date, 100% refund;
- 5 days or less prior to departure date, no refund. - NO bags are allowed on the tours! Only CLEAR bags that can see-through are allowed. The guest who does NOT follow the rule will not be allowed on the tour!
- VERY IMPORTANT: Our tours need to depart on schedule. You must be at your pickup location prior to the departure time. The tour group cannot wait for travelers who are late, as it will inhibit the ability to run the tour as scheduled. Please familiarize yourself with the pickup location and departure time in advance of your tour date. Getting to your pickup location may take more time than you anticipate; plan to arrive at the designated pickup location 10 minutes prior to the departure time. We want to ensure the best experience for all of our travelers. Thank you for helping to make a smooth departure. Our full-day tours will include turkey sandwich box lunch. These are remote areas and we do recommend guests to bring extra foodstuffs, especially if you have any dietary restrictions.
