Itinerary

The Medoc region covers approximately 5,700 hectares of declared vineyards, annually producing 300,000 hectoliters of wine on average. Half of the viticultural area is planted with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. There is also a smattering of vineyards cultivating Petit Verdot and Malbec, as well as the varieties Cabernet Franc and Carmenere. We'll depart for a half day tour of the Margaux and Haut Medoc appellations, world famous for its Premier Grand Cru Classe: Chateau Margaux. During this half day tour you will discover two renowned Classified Growth Chateaux: Cru Classe and Cru Bourgeois, creating wines in which the Cabernet Sauvignon is the predominant variety. You will then have the opportunity to taste these fabulous wines. All winery tours and wine tasting fees are included in the display price.
