The trip was better than I expected. I liked the combination of historical cities and coastal scenery. Rome was a highlight for me, especially the Colosseum area. The local guide explained the history clearly. Sometimes the group moved quickly, but everyone was on schedule.
Tour guide is great, and has great knowledge of each place. Although the trip was hard for my niece who is first timer because it is not in English, Alisa did her best to explain to us in English in between. Chinese talks. The driver is very careful and good, not erratic like some drivers in tours. Website advertisement must specify the long walks required. Hotels were far from centres.
Our guide in Rome was amazing—so knowledgeable and engaging. He answered every question, kept the group organized, and made history come alive. The way he pointed out little details at the Trevi Fountain was unforgettable.
Great trip with lots of variety. The Alps crossing was breathtaking, and Italian cities were full of life. The guide made sure we had the right balance of information and free time. Hotels were comfortable and well located.
