Empuries is a Greco-Roman archaeological site along the Costa Brava. Located near the medieval village of Marti d’Empuries, this region has had settlers for thousands of years. Today visitors can see the ruins of the Greek and Roman trading cities that once stood by the Mediterranean Sea. There’s also a museum here displaying artifacts found in the ancient cities.
