From the hotel, Kuanzhai Alley is within walking distance. Head northeast for about 10-15 minutes, or take a short taxi ride if preferred. Kuanzhai Alley, literally meaning "Wide and Narrow Alleys," is a historic district composed of three parallel lanes: Kuan Alley (Wide Lane), Zhai Alley (Narrow Lane), and Jing Alley (Well Lane). Built during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), the area preserves traditional courtyard architecture and has become a vibrant cultural hub filled with teahouses, craft shops, street food stalls, and occasional cultural performances. Take your time strolling through the alleys - sample local snacks like dandan noodles or sanjia da (sticky rice balls), browse the boutique stores, or simply sit down at an old-fashioned teahouse to experience Chengdu's famously relaxed pace of life. Allow about 1.5 to 2 hours for a leisurely visit.

After exploring Kuanzhai Alley, it's just a short walk to Kuixinglou Street for dinner. From the southern end of Kuanzhai Alley, head south along Changshun Upper Street for about 200 metres, then turn left (east) at the traffic lights and continue for another 300 metres - you'll find Kuixinglou Street on your right. The entire walk takes approximately 10 minutes. Kuixinglou Street is one of Chengdu's most vibrant food streets, lined with dozens of authentic Sichuan restaurants. Here you can find everything from sizzling hotpot and spicy grilled fish to chuan chuan (skewer hotpot) and home-style stir-fries. The street is a favourite among locals, so the atmosphere is lively and the flavours are genuine. Dining tip: Peak dinner hours are between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm, and queues can be long - arriving early or making a reservation is advisable.

After dinner, you can take a leisurely stroll back to the Tonino Lamborghini Hotel - the walk takes about 15–20 minutes through the well-lit and pedestrian-friendly streets. Alternatively, taxis and ride-hailing services (e.g., Didi) are readily available for a short ride back.

1) Hotel → Chengdu Panda Base
Tonino Lamborghini Hotel Chengdu is located at the city center near Tianfu Square. The Panda Base is in the northern suburb, about a 40-60 minute drive away.
Recommended transport options:
* Metro + Shuttle Bus (Total time: approx. 1 hour.)
Walk to Tianfu Square Metro Station (Lines 1 & 2) and take Line 2 to Chunxi Road Station, then transfer to Line 3 heading toward "Jungong Zongyiyuan" (军区总医院). Get off at Panda Avenue Station (熊猫大道站) and exit from A or B/C. Take the dedicated shuttle bus (approx. ¥2) directly to the Panda Base. Alternatively, get off at Jungong Zongyiyuan Station (军区总医院站) and take the Panda Base Micro-Bus Line 1 (409) from Exit B to the West Gate
* Direct Tourist Bus
The Panda Base Direct Bus Line 1 runs from Chunxi Road to the Panda Base (West Gate). Service hours: 7:30–16:00. Fare: ¥8.
Alternatively, the Panda Tour Bus (double-decker) departs from Chunxi Road at 9:00, 11:30, 13:50, and 15:50. Fare: ¥12. Since your hotel is near Chunxi Road, this is a very convenient option.
* Taxi / Ride-hailing (Didi)
Direct ride from the hotel to the Panda Base costs approx. ¥30-40. Make sure to tell the driver: "Chengdu Daxiongmao Fanyu Yanjiu Jidi" to avoid being taken to the zoo. For the West Gate (newer area with fewer crowds), tell the driver to drop you off at the West Gate.

2) Explore the Panda Base
Opening hours: 7:30-18:00 (ticket sales stop at 17:00).
Ticket price: ¥55 if booked online in advance(recommended to skip queues).
Best time to visit: Early morning (around 7:30-8:00) when pandas are most active.
Suggested visit duration: 3-5 hours depending on your pace.
Route tip: Enter from the South Gate to see the classic panda enclosures and the famous giant panda "Hua Hua", or enter from the West Gate for a newer, less crowded area. The "South Gate in, West Gate out" route is a popular way to cover the whole park without backtracking.
Must-see: Moonlight Nursery (月亮产房) and Sunlight Nursery (太阳产房) for baby pandas.

3) Panda Base → Chunxi Road / IFS
Return to the city center using the reverse of the above options:
* Shuttle Bus + Metro: Take the shuttle bus from the Panda Base back to Panda Avenue Station or Jungong Zongyiyuan Station, then take Metro Line 3 to Chunxi Road Station.
* Direct Tourist Bus: Take the Panda Base Direct Bus Line 1 back to Chunxi Road. The last bus from the Panda Base is at around 18:00.
* Taxi / Ride-hailing: Direct ride back to Chunxi Road / IFS costs approx. ¥30–40.

4) Explore Chunxi Road & IFS
Chunxi Road is Chengdu's most famous shopping street. Right next to it is IFS (International Finance Square), home to the iconic "I Am Here" climbing panda sculpture.
How to get there from the metro: Take Metro Line 2 or 3 to Chunxi Road Station. Exit C or D brings you right to IFS.
Photo tips: For the classic "panda butt" shot, stand on the ground floor in front of the IFS building.
For the panda's face and a city-view photo, take the elevator up to the 7th-floor rooftop garden.
Suggested time: 1-2 hours for shopping, dining, and photos.

5) Return to Hotel
From Chunxi Road / IFS, your hotel is very close:
* Walk: Approx. 5-10 minutes. The hotel is within walking distance of Chunxi Road.
* Metro: Take Line 2 or 3 to Tianfu Square Station (1 stop).
* Taxi: A short 5-minute ride.
