4-Day Sanya Cultural Experience Private Tour: Luhuitou Park, Local Market & Optional Nature Excursions

Upon your arrival to Sanya Phoenix International Airport or Sanya Railway Station (please advise your arrival details in advance in order to arrange the pick-up), you will be met by an English-speaking guide, and together with the driver, will assist you with the half-an-hour transfer to your hotel. Check-in to your hotel. If you feel tired after the journey, you can relax and make use of all available services at the hotel. But if you are anxious to explore this awesome city, stroll down its charming streets and get closer to its unique culture.

Begin the day with a tasty breakfast at your hotel and get ready for your half-day Sanya tour. You will be picked up from the hotel at 8:30 am and together we´ll drive to your first stop, Luhuitou Park, located about 5km south of Sanya downtown, high on a hill. We will get astonishing views over the city and its surroundings, and we will learn about the legend telling the love story of the hunter and deer-woman. After this visit, we will continue to the local market in Hongqi Street in Sanya city centre. This market is the most popular shopping centre in the city. A rich selection of various tropical fruits, such as Coconut, Mango, Pineapple, Jackfruit, etc. and all kinds of the commodity could be found here. You will be back at the hotel in the late afternoon and the rest of the day at leisure.

Wake up to your breakfast at the hotel and enjoy the full day at leisure at this delightful city, often called "China's Hawai". Enjoy the sun rays on the beach or take a walk along the coastline and visit Seaside Tropical Gardens. The location of the Sanya promises clean seawater, fresh air, beautiful beaches and bright sunshine and rich natural tropical scenery and historical sites, local specialities include handicrafts made of seashells, horn-ware, coconut shell carving products, pepper.

【Nashan Buddhism Cultural Park (half-day excursion)】

Nanshan Buddhism Cultural Park is a famous utopian ecological zone located at the southernmost part of China at the foot of Nanshan Mountain. Nanshan, which means "the mountain in the south", is believed to be the auspicious mountain of longevity in Chinese mythology. A gigantic Buddha statue, built as recent as 2003, stretches 108 meters above ground and overlooking the sea. This large statue seems to guard the nearby temples and the many tropical botanic gardens.

Yanoda Rainforest Cultural Tourism Zone is famous for the unique rainforest and has given new meanings to the words: "Ya" means innovation, "No" represents the promise and "Da" refers to practice. The concept of Yanoda intends to perpetuate the native cultures and exhibit the essence of Chinese traditional culture; on the other hand, "yanoda" delivers the expression of welcome and greeting, referring to friendship and best wishes.

【Nanwan Monkey Island and Xincun Local Market (half-day excursion)】
Pick-up time: 8:30 am
Visit Nanwan Monkey Island! Located in the Nanwan Peninsula, on the opposite of Xincun Port, Nanwan Monkey Island is a habitat for macaque. It is the only tropical island nature reserve for macaques in China, which is under state protection since 1965. It is said that now there are more than 2,000 monkeys in this nature reserve. The island is topped by forests and hills. After, you go to Xincun Local Market, just 500 meters away from Nanwan Monkey Island. Get insight into the local life and culture and try some of the tempting local specialities.

After breakfast at the hotel, check-out from the hotel and at the agreed time you will be picked up by the guide at the hotel reception and together with the driver will take you to the Sanya Phoenix International Airport or Sanya Railways station to go to your onwards destinations.
