  • Cherry blossom season: Cherry Blossom season varies between different regions of Japan and is dependent on weather conditions. Late March to early April are the most likely times to experience it on this tour but this is not guaranteed.
  • Why only 18-35?
    - Not all 18 to 35-year-olds wanna travel in a group where everyone's a similar age, but plenty do - and that's where we come in.
    - Age-restrictions allow us to tailor everything to YOU. From the areas we stay in, to the restaurants and shopping districts we visit, to active experiences, hotels and hostels and even the music we play on the coach. The all-round vibe of the trip is designed for people who are young and hungry for adventure. And it's unique to the local operator.
  • How do I make my way to the starting point? Are transfers included?
    This will depend on which city you arrive at.
    Tokyo
    Tokyo is serviced by two major international airports, Narita and Haneda. You’re welcome to take a taxi to the hotel, but these tend to be quite expensive. That’s why, the best way to reach our hotel is by train. You can purchase tickets from the counter at the airport. And the journey will take you 1-2 hours.
    Osaka
    The Kansai International Airport in Osaka is around 45 minutes away from our hotel by bus. And the best way to get there is by bus, that’ll drop you off close to our hotel. You can get your tickets at the counter. We don’t recommend getting a taxi since they tend to be quite expensive.
  • What kind of luggage should I bring? What are restrictions?
    You can bring one bag or suitcase of 73cm x 50cm x 25cm (29” x 20” x 10”), with a max weight of 20kg (44lbs) – plus one piece of hand luggage suitable as a carry-on for flights on this trip.
    You’ll travel between a few destinations via the Shinkansen (bullet train), and won’t have your main luggage because of the space restrictions. But there’s no need to worry, because we’ll send everything forward to the next hotel via truck.
    In Hiroshima and Mt Koya, you’ll need to bring an overnight bag since you won’t have your main luggage with you. Your Trip Manager will advise you about what you should bring for each day.
  • Do I need to have travel insurance for this trip?
    - Yes! It's a requirement of traveling with the local operator that you take out a comprehensive insurance policy, covering:
    * Cancellation
    * Personal injury
    * Death
    * Medical expenses
    * Repatriation expenses
    * Evacuation expenses
    * Personal liability
    * Loss of personal property
    * Any and all activities included on your trip

The time we mentioned in the itinerary is for reference only. Please refer to your guide on tour for the actual arrangement. The visiting order and duration might be changed according to actual and practical situation for better service.
This tour/activity is overseen by a select local operator in the region. Perfect Mix of Tradition & Modern Japan!
Hakone's hot springs and Mt Fuji views from the ropeway were amazing. Hiroshima's peace park was moving, and Miyajima's floating torii gate looked straight out of a postcard. Got to try Hida beef in Takayama—so tender! Guides knew all the best spots.

Kyoto's Golden Pavilion in the morning mist? Breathtaking. Picked fresh fruit in Takayama and explored Matsumoto Castle—felt like a samurai! Ended the trip with karaoke in Osaka after an izakaya dinner. 13 days flew by, but packed with so many memories!

13 Days of Japanese Cultural Bliss!
Tokyo's Sensoji Temple and Shibuya crossing were wild—loved the robot restaurant too! Kyoto's Fushimi Inari shrine with all those torii gates? Unreal. Staying in a Buddhist temple in Mount Koya was so peaceful, and the kaiseki dinner in Hakone was chefs kiss.
