From Vancouver to Kamloops on a Scenic Rail Journey
Begin your luxury rail adventure aboard the iconic Rocky Mountaineer train at Vancouver Station (Address: 1755 Cottrell Street, Vancouver, BC). Your journey through some of Canada's most spectacular landscapes showcases the dramatic transformation of scenery from the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley to the arid desert-like terrain of BC's interior. Marvel at steep canyon walls, the rushing waters of Hell's Gate, and the historic Thompson River route once used by Indigenous peoples and early fur traders. Throughout the day, enjoy gourmet meals and impeccable service while witnessing breathtaking vistas through oversized windows. Your first day of rail travel concludes along the shores of Kamloops Lake as you arrive in the charming city of Kamloops for an evening at leisure.
Journey Highlights
Fraser Valley: The lush, fertile plain east of Vancouver, known as the "breadbasket" of BC. It features rich farmland, berry fields, and wineries, framed by the Coast Mountains (morning journey)
Fraser Canyon: Steep rock walls and rushing waters carving through ancient formations (mid-morning)
Hell's Gate: A dramatic, narrow gorge in the Fraser Canyon where the massive Fraser River is forced through a 35-meter-wide passage, creating powerful rapids. Explorer Simon Fraser called it "the gates of Hell." (late morning)

Exploring Lake Louise and Yoho National Park
The journey continues through the heart of the Canadian Rockies with visits to the legendary Lake Louise and the awe-inspiring Yoho National Park. This spectacular day features some of the most photographed landscapes in Canada, from the turquoise waters of Lake Louise set against Victoria Glacier to the emerald-hued Moraine Lake nestled in the Valley of the Ten Peaks. In Yoho National Park, marvel at remarkable natural formations and engineering wonders while learning about the geological forces that shaped this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Journey Highlights
Lake Louise: Admire the breathtaking turquoise waters of this iconic alpine lake named after Princess Louise Caroline Alberta, with time to explore the shoreline and capture perfect photographs. (Approx. 2hrs. stop)
Moraine Lake: Discover the stunning valley of the Ten Peaks featuring one of the most beautiful lakes in the Rockies with its distinctive vivid blue waters created by glacial rock flour. (Approx. 60min. stop)

Yoho National Park: Experience this spectacular park whose name means "awe" in the Cree language, featuring dramatic waterfalls, towering rock walls, and alpine meadows.
Spiral Tunnels: Witness an engineering marvel where the railroad crosses over itself in a figure-eight configuration, an ingenious solution to the steep mountain grade. (Drive through with commentary)
Emerald Lake: Visit the largest of Yoho's 61 lakes and explore its shoreline surrounded by towering mountain peaks, with striking green waters that give the lake its name. (Approx. 20min. stop)
Natural Bridge: Observe this fascinating rock formation carved by the powerful Kicking Horse River, demonstrating the incredible erosive force of water on the landscape. (Approx. 15min. stop)

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Made Within 33 days prior to departure, No Refund
Cancellation Made Within 34 days to 51 days prior to departure, Refund 20% of total purchase amount
Cancellation Made 52 or more days prior to departure, Refund 70% of total purchase amount

• Change of departure date will be considered as a cancellation.
• Decrease in number of guests, change the optional admissions & group meal purchase, as well as amending extended hotel stay will be considered as cancellation.
• All optional tours are non-refundable. Refund will be done only due to weather and force majeure event happens and the optional tours could not be continued.
• Additional fees, including but not limited to associated credit card or wire transfer service charges, will be applied to any cancellation or amendment request.

Special Notes

To protect the rights of all passengers, please arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes early. If you miss the boarding time, you must make your own way to the next stop to rejoin the group. In special circumstances, please contact our company.
We strongly recommend that all participants purchase travel insurance to avoid losses caused by accidents during the trip and to protect personal interests.
In case of special circumstances, the company reserves the right to adjust the itinerary order, replace or cancel any sightseeing activities or accommodations, and to extend or shorten the tour duration. Participants may not object on these grounds.
All transportation providers, hotels, restaurants, and attractions involved in the tour have their own safety regulations and liability policies. In the event of personal injury, death, or property loss, such matters shall be handled according to the regulations of the relevant provider, and the company shall bear no responsibility.
Baggage policy: Each passenger is allowed one checked bag and one carry-on bag only. Additional baggage will be charged CAD $50 + 5% GST per item.
Itinerary order and hotels may be adjusted depending on travel dates.
Sightseeing duration and activity times may vary due to actual conditions. Activities are subject to weather conditions. If an attraction is closed, it will be replaced with an alternative attraction.
Group meals are subject to conditions. Guests with special dietary requirements or food allergies are not recommended to book group meals. Menu changes may occur without prior notice.
If an optional activity cannot be operated due to force majeure or other non-personal reasons, the fee for that optional item will be refunded.
Tour vehicles are not equipped with wheelchair access.
This is a local join-in tour. You will be combined with other travelers locally. The itinerary order, hotel arrangements, guides, and vehicles may vary depending on departure dates, but the overall itinerary and services will remain unchanged.
If you book extended hotel stay with airport transfer in the Calgary Airport area and do not provide flight details, please arrange the pickup time directly with the hotel front desk upon check-in. Transfer time is subject to availability.
All optional activities have limited availability and must be booked and paid for at the time of tour reservation. On-site registration is not accepted. Early booking is recommended to avoid long waits or sold-out situations.
Infant car seats are not provided on this tour. Guests may bring their own if needed.

Depending on your arrival time, your hotel room may not be available until the afternoon. Most hotels allow check-in between 1:00pm-3:00pm, however some charge a fee for early check-in. Please check at the hotel desk to see if you may store your luggage at the hotel if you wish to explore the city on your own before check-in.
